Apparently you put a fuse in there to complete the circuit to read trouble codes, otherwise it shouldn't have a fuse.

That is right. You put a fuse in that location and your ABS stops working on the drive.

No, its to enable diagnostic mode. Any stored fault code is displayed by flashing the ABS warning light in a sequence which makes up 4 digits.

The codes can be found in service manuals for the Teves MKII ABS such as here:

A fuse that disables the ABS, I wish every car came with this feature.

    Good morning,

i'm from Italy and i have a problem with the brakes of my GTS turbo intercooler ABS.
I have to bring the car in a official Ferrari center, but is' very far from my home.
The ABS and brake lights are ALWAYS on and the brake pedal it'very heavy and (almost) without motion..it's seems stuck. I read the thread and i have a question.
Can I insert a fuse to solve temporarily the problem ? In this way i can bring the car to the Ferrari center for the repair..or not ?
    Thank for your help.

    Luigi

Inserting the fuse just puts the ABS ECU into diagnostic mode, it does not fix issues with the system. If your brake pedal is hard with no assist, it sounds like the accumulator is not charging. You have a problem with the braking system that needs further diagnosis.
