    I wasn't actively looking for a muscle car, but I made the mistake of just browsing e-bay and came across this. It is the best of all worlds in my mind, old school looks with a more modern ride. It is easier for me to just give you the link to the e-bay ad. I should get it in about 2 weeks...can't wait to drive it!

    Congrats, a 400 with raiv cam is a high winder for a muscle car, it will like to be shifted at 6000rpm. I've had a couple of Pontiacs and love them, enjoy it!

    On an actual computer now instead of cell phone. The ebay listing is gone so can't get any details. Curious what numbers on the heads and what kind of rear end, probably 10 bolt I suppose. Would be interested to know the gearing, for that motor 3.73 probably optimal. Would love more pics. Love old pontiac muscle, 69-79 being my favs.

    It's a faulty anagram of the letters G T O == G O a T. It's just a nickname someone made up back in the day and it stuck.

    Also called "The Great One" after the original "GTO tiger" ads were shot down.

    Sweet ride! I wish mine had the hide-a-way headlights, they really give it an aggressive look.
