964 is my favorite 911 line. Just wondering what you think will become the most sought after 964 in the future. The RS, 964T 3.6 and Speedster are obvious candidates. I'm not talking investment speculation now, just a hypothetical question.

I like them all (except the Carrera 4), the above mentioned 3 are favorites.

    IMHO..........

1 - 964 3.8 RSR (not available in North America)

    2 - Turbo S 3.6 flatnose

3 - 964 Carrera RS (the real one from Europe, not the RS America, that's just a C2 with cloth sport seats)

Ah, the 3.8 RS... I'm with you on this one! Extremely expensive already, jumped in my seat when I saw the asking prices on misc. ads (at 250.000 USD+)...

Flatnose? Never saw their appeal, but I guess they are rare and special enough to command big premiums.

My favorite are the Turbo S 3.6 non-flat nose cars. Speedsters have been steadily rising in value though.

I believe there were only 13 Turbo S non flat nose cars. Now that's the one to have. All I need to do is find one. I guess a flat nose will suffice

Either TurboS (3.3L RoW version) or 3.8 RS Clubsport - I suspect the latter as only 7 worldwide.

I've only seen two come up for sale in the last year or so.
This one wouldn't be bad though:

I've never been a fan of the 964-based Speedster but I gotta admit, the one posted looks pretty tasty :)

The one pictured is a wide body. I thought 964 Speedsters were narrow.

I love that car's look, it looks exquisite and would love to own one but the title was the most collectible hence not mentioned.

I've never liked the Cabs or Speedsters but that one could turn me - to a speedster at least - a cab would be a step too far in my book.

    Cheers

There's a Turbo 3.6 on Rennlist for $95k right now. There's a Turbo S flat nose at the same dealer that I linked to earlier in the thread too.

Wow, lots of love for the 3.6 Turbo here... Why? Last RWD Turbo?

Just picked up Total911 mag's "The ultimate guide to the greatest Porsche 911s of all time" - can't wait to read about the 964s! :)

Don't forget about the 94 C4. It might be considered collectible as it was the only year the C4 was a factory widebody.
