Bergen County C&C - Saturday, May 11th

I am updating the Bergen C&C scene - there is no meet for 5/5 anymore. Instead, we are meeting on Saturday, May 11th from 8:30-10:30 AM at the Montvale rest area on the Garden State Parkway (between exits 171 and 172).

HUGE hat tip to F-chatter geochin for the suggestion to use this location!

Please remember that we do not rev or peel in and out of parking lots, and that remains true here.

I stopped by the location yesterday. We'll meet in the North Lot, but not the commuter lot (which is the extreme north end of the rest area). It's a nice sized parking lot, and of course, restrooms and refreshments will be readily available. I believe coffee options are limited to Dunkin' Donuts.

 

After speaking with George tonight, we've decided meeting in the commuter parking lot will work better, so we will meet in the northern most lot in the facility.

We will be meeting this morning. We should have a window to get it in before the weather worsens.

 

Today's meet drew a very small crowd, thanks in large part to the uncooperative weather. As a result, we will meet again next Saturday, May 18th from 8:30-11:00 AM at the same location: the Montvale Rest Area between Exits 171 and 172 of the GS Parkway.

Please be sure to use the lot at the far north end of the facility. I noticed some people were lurking in the lot directly north of the rest area. We meet beyond there in the commuter lot.
