Looks like a classic high AoA stall. Whoever was flying wasn't too wise in respecting these large transport airplanes. No speed, no height = no margin to muck around.
It was reported (predicted) that the cargo slid backwards during the climb. Pilots looked like they fought it till the end, even lowering the gear.
