Stabilant 22A on ABS sensors??

    Would it be okay to apply some Stabilant 22A on my 348 ABS sensors directly which are plugged on the brake calipers? The sensors which face the brake disk -the ventilated bit of the disk. Thanks

    Those are the brake pad wear sensors not ABS. Probably wouldnt do any harm, or any good for that matter.

    sorry i'v been at it for way too many hours i'm getting stuff mixed up....i meant at the back of the hub.....it is the ABS sensors....wait i'll try to see if i can get any photo of it "borrowed" from another thread.....

    No reason to put anything there. There is no electrical connection. Make sure everything is clean.

    Dont remove them. There are very thin shims which control the spacing between the sensor and toothed wheel and if you lose any or the spacing changes because of dirt etc, the ABS will no longer work properly.
