Hope it looks like neither of those. Hoping for this car to have a more "new and unique" design, not look like a modified 911 + cayman like those photos do.
that is just a 918 spyder made uglier.. In my opinion if Porsche wants this car to compete with ferrari, the car will have all new styling - no 918 or 911 styling.
Don't you mean a 918 spyder made uglier? Agree, but me thinks it will end up looking like a large Cayman. Nice, but not a premium looking car. They should be fixing the Panamera styling anyways, and working on a real 928 successor in lieu of a boring-looking Ferrari competitor. If they were really serious, they should bring in Marcelo Ghandini to do it.

Porsche has released almost no information on this car, so all the renderings and specifications are most likely going to be completely off. My hope for this car is that it does not have turbos, but has a more powerful version of the 918 v8 and is a small car in general. I also hope it is a very limited car, as they are always better that way

That looks like an Aston Vanguish with Carrera GT wheels and taillights. I think it looks horrid, and dated.
I'll take sleek, understated Vanquish-like looks with Porsche class leading GT tech and performance over the other lotus-like mid-engined crates with too many lines and holes anyday.
