New meeting Place

I was on my way to the lake today and stopped by Rich Adams new place in Buford and met he and Mike. Rich gave me the tour and this is going to be an excellent "Car Guys" kinda place with a great showroom, lounge and huge parking both inside and out.

Then it hit me . . . a car nut with a great place . . .that wants people to come over and get to know him??? Why not see if we might be able to try for another Giovanni's (rest in peace) meeting place at Rich's shop?

He was gracious enough to offer his place, a BBQ smoker out back AND food to put on it! All we need is the old gang (and or new gang) to show up, talk cars, or trucks or even motorcycles (Frank).

So, how does June 1st sound with a rain date of June 8th? I know it's kinda short notice but let's see how many Ferrari's, Lambos, Masers, Lotus, Porsches, Jags (and there is one unreal E-Type roadster commanding the front door) . . .etc. etc etc we can get together for an event!

Bob, tell the Pantera and Porsche guys. Brian, notify the Lotus boys. Bill, there's a Ford GT in the showroom that would like to meet yours! And, the attached pic gives the Porsche guys something to view too! No, not the truck.

Rick - June 1 is rides to remember up at AMP... otherwise good place! what time ?

 

Thanks for reality check Tom. Rides is on my calendar but not the calendar I was looking at last night. Duh.

How about June 8th with a rain day of the 15th? I would think 3:00 ish.

You might want to consider doing this on Sunday (6/9) and making it a Canadian Grand Prix viewing party. I'm still going to miss it though; I'll be in Pennsylvania until Sunday night.

 

That's a great point. How many of you would rather we move it to Sunday so we can enjoy the Canadian GP? I think it starts at around 3pm. Let me know which day works best for you guys. Rich will need a rough head count for food so PM me if you plan on attending and I'll coordinate it with Rich.

Im trying to get a nice group together to visit the shop this Sunday if anyone is interested. It is an amazing shop with some of the kindest, best people around!
