    Hi Julian,

Yes this looks like a nice car. Therefore it does not belong in this thread ! This thread is only for cars and sellers we want to make fun of. ;)

Yes Bob: it is the car that was found in South Africa. It escaped all of us here.

    Best,

    Jack.

That would be perfect for Walter but I see it's the Citroen model. ;)

I can tell you that Walter is still very much well suited with his "little blue wonder"...:)

    thats correct.

You buy a brand new QP, you give it to Touring and they convert it into a "Bellagio Fastback".

It is definitely a unique car, I've seen one in person and I really liked it, much better than the photos. The extra space at the rear make it quite practical for the family man. Indeed a very unique car.

Another similar project was the "A8 GCS Berlinetta", which is the same thing done to a new GranSport. There is a "model" car, shown in various European events, but I think nobody has paid the extra 300,000 euros that Touring was asking for the conversion. The Bellagio above sounds more realistic, than the Berninetta, which in reality is a 40,000 euro GranSport underneath. Kinda overpriced to just re-body a GS...

Interesting that the seller shows no picture of the new engine, and that while the ad is dated June, the pictures show snow on the ground...

    DodgeMopar Wedge440in1985maserati

And of course, $9k will buy you a QP3 in original (albeit perhaps poor) condition and include the original engine.

$9k for a Maserati? That alone tells the whole story about the QP IIIs
