Sorry if this is against the rules to post this but I gotta ask what is the color of the carpet on this thing

1973 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Berlinetta for sale: Anamera

as mixed in with a beige leather interior, if that is the proper name for it (kinda generic name really I mean how many different shades of beige are there on these kinda classic cars alone?) it looks beautiful and I've seen sort of a rust burnt red color on a tan saddle leather, and then cream but never one with that carpet on it.

and it seems like just the right mixture for the daytona and its daytona package, and of course he failed to list that in the advertisement.

I had a ride in a Daytona in Rome in 1973 that was a dark blue with beige interior. After 40 years, I can't comment if the shades are original or not, but the colour combination was delivered on car in which I rode. And the car had 600 km at the time.

The carpet mats are not original, so the color of the carpet may not be original. Sorry I can't help with the name of the color, it could be a beige color and the photo makes it look lighter.

Yeah I guess I'm kind of out on the ocean on this one, but my god that carpet with the beige interior looks beautiful

Especially with the Dino Blue Metallic Paintjob and the white and yellow turn signals mixed in with it all.

Thanks for the help anyways guys, did say something about the car having some sort of work on it in the ad, guess that could apply to the interior as well.

Looks like it could be a nice car? Slightly unusual in that it has a centre reversing light. Most (but by no means all) Euro Daytonas I've seen have the twin under bumper reversing lights?

center reversing light on late euro daytonas is factory correct. especially for the french/italian market.

How about the wide spokes (without two holes) on the steering wheel. That metal wheel design looks like something off an early Daytona wood steering wheel.

the steering wheel looks too small. daytona leather wheels had an outside diameter of 390-392 mm. daytona wood wheels has a 400 mm diameter.
this wheel looks similar to a wheel ive seen on a 275 gtb prototype. early ferrari wheel?

A rather tight view unfortunately of the steering wheel on a UK Daytona. However it does show the same style of wide spoke design as seen on the blue coupe's steering wheel.

That's my steering wheel and it's not an original one either :( The original wheel got swapped onto Mick Jagger's Daytona in the seventies by a mechanic that worked on both cars. If anyone here is friends with Jagger I would like the original back! ;)

Just let him know that without your original steering wheel you can't get no satisfaction! :D

Looks like a repro comp steering wheel to me, there was a company selling them at Retromobile a few years ago.

My experience tells me they are an old set of original beige carpets that should be a shade darker, they have been bleached by sunlight and car detailers spray can carpet cleaner. I can almost smell them !!
