That's really great to hear, Joe. 12670 is a beautiful car that just needed some fettling. Glad you fettled!
I've only just discovered this thread after seeing a link on Pistonheads.com. What a brilliant thread this is for us Anniversary owners. I was delighted to find that my own car appears several times, but I don't think Joe realised the different pics are of the same car: The interior shot in post #223 on page 12 is mine, taken shortly after I bought it. Posts #401 and #402 are all of my car, the first ones are part of a set that were taken by a professional photographer which my wife arranged as my birthday present, and the shot in post #402 was taken when we were on a car show run on the Isle of Wight. So although Joe states them to be differnet cars they are actually one and the same. The pic in post #543 on page 28 and described by Joe as "gorgeous" (thanks for that Joe) is again my car, with me in the jacket with striped sleeves, taken at a Pistonheads meeting in 2011. The pic in post #852 on page 43 is also of my car and is one I haven't seen before, taken during it's time with the previous owner I think. Finally the studio shot in post #938 on page 47 is again my car. For anyone interested, and apologies to the many who aren't; I bought my car in May 2007 and it was the realisation of my childhood dream. I bought it with just 2000 miles on it from new and it now has around 4400 miles. It was first owned by the Patrick Collection in Birmingham UK, where it was on display and occasionally driven. The next owner bought the car around 1994 and used it very little, documenting the annual usage, then I bought it in 2007. It is the actual car that was used by Athena (remember them?) for their Countach Anniversary poster (I have verification of this). It took quite a while but I eventually managed to get a copy of the poster which now takes pride of place on my garage wall. This is where the studio shot that Joe posted came from. I service the car myself and absolutely love it, I still have to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming when I see it parked in my garage Thanks for posting this thread Joe, a thoroughly enjoyable read.
Welcome to Ferrari Chat! This thread was started to share knowledge on these often overlooked car (no more!). The way they were maligned for no valid reason was nothing short of a crime, because they really are the business end of what a Countach can be! Please share this thread with other 25th owners, and please post some personal images of your car. Ive seen a few pics of your ex-Patrick Countach 25th being driven by you and your wife and I have to say it looks absolutely immaculate, de-bunking another theory that if you drive these things they become the worse for wear. You wear it proudly. We just drove ours today after a Ferrari Supercar and I must say nothing drives quite like the 25th, with its energetic acceleration and solid feeling on the road. Somebody asked: "Is it new?" Perhaps this pic is yet another of your car in the studio for its shoot? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Giallo Anniversario French-registered 6736.XV.06, but I have no idea where the image was taken, seems to be from about a decade ago? Kevin? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Another from the same run. The 'Perlato' really shows up in this pic. Image Unavailable, Please Login
A few pics from the other site showing your service work in progress. Its amazing how much better the build quality on these is. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Joe when you get a moment please take a pic of your FE so I can see how you've mounted it on your driver's side. Thanks!
No idea which one this is. Looking to the cars in the background and the style of the registration plate this picture must been taken in the early nineties.

A few more by my wife Margaret of our little Sunday jaunt. The harder you push this car the more solid it feels, I especially love the gear-change which is rifle-bolt precise. The 2nd shot shows the curvature of the rear bumper. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thank you! We think so too. Here are a few more. My wife is quite taken by this one in spite of all that graces our garage, so next week we will try & find a more interesting location to shoot on a break from one of our drives.
