Note also wrinkled leather on the airbag and under the rear window. Odd for such a low mileage car.

Henry- You should have saved all those HGTC parts. Just about too expensive to buy now.

When I went to pick up my car at the mechanic (Auto Elite) he had 2 beautiful (really mint and clean) 575s in there for service- red and silver, and both stick! I couldn't take my eyes off them...I like the 360 more (of course, that's why I bought one vs a 550/575), but if I could have two ferrari's.....the lines of the 550/575 are beautiful- so classy, and the gated shifter finishes the classic look/experience! I'm biased, but I think the 360/550/575 will all be classic cars that are desired even more in 15+ years. The equivalent in the Porsche world would be the air-cooled 911, and in the vette world the 1960's big block 427 corvette- all relatively high volume models that are classics.

real close. like taz said, upgrade parts are $$$ or not available. your better off spending more on a loaded car than trying to replicate. between exhaust, susp, wheels/tires, computers and god knows what else probably looking at $20k.

I have been after a manual 575 for years, as you know they are rare as hens teeth. I managed to find one with a great spec.. Tour De France and tan , 19in modular wheels with yellow calipers.. the car looks stunning!

Thank you ... yes , forgot to mention that it has Fiorano Handling Pack too !
The clutch is surprisingly light for a big V12 and the driving experience is way beyond my expectations .. I have a 1997 355 GTS , also a manual car ... the 575 feels grown up compared to the highly strung V8 in the 355!

A light clutch is a very good sign (lots of life left ) when I got my 550 the clutch was very heavy, so I ended up putting in a new one.

The more you drive her the better she will run...

Have fun putting the miles on.

    cheers,

    Bill
