Took the car on a 250 mile round trip weekend. Drove it in the rain, parked it outside overnight uncovered. Did all kinds of scary things with it and guess what??? It survived, ran great, won a platinum award and was just an all out blast.

Some pics of the day. Weather was iffy. They sold almost 200 spots but I would say there were about 70 cars there. 6 355s as pictured. A lot if the vintage stuff stayed home but there were a few. Met Wayne Carrini as well.

Great event and I would suggest it in the future for anyone who is within driving distance

There was some great cars aside from the weather. This is our 4th year at the event as a vendor. It is surprising how the mondern day stuff does not show in the rain compaired to some rare classics. I think the new setup worked out better than past. As usual pietro put on a stellar event.

    Paul,

btw.. my car was fine. It was simply the way the ground was sloped why my 348 speciale looked like a low rider. :D

Dave, glad to hear you got home OK. I personally think you and Mike was robbed....don't know why you both didn't get Platinum awards. Your cars deserved it!

2 yellow 348 Spiders. I believe only 60 348 Spiders in yellow. As an owner of one, I always enjoy seeing others. Looks like a great turnout.

That champagne 330gts won some larger show award. Owner was sitting at my table. His garage has that car , a chairs and flares silver/black Dino gts, a 2010 430 , three pedal and a 99 Rosso corsa gts 355 three pedal.

What a collection! Never got to other cars he had in his 12 car garage. Lol

I thought that champagne 330 was absolutely drop dead gorgeous. Loved the color combo.

If you look in the cavalino mag they gave you, he took that car to the cavalino show last year as well and he had the Dino at this show last year. His name is Roy.

I heard Algar runs a truck down there for the Cavalino. Approx 1200 RT .

FML has that car at 840000 give or take. Asking prices

Bob I can't agree more. It was a great event yesterday despite the weather. It was quite exhilarating to walk away with an award my first time out to this show. My father and I were next to you in the berlinetta. Great meeting you and hope to see you at future events.

Hey Mark. Great to meet you as we'll. Hope your ride home was good also. Your Dad said the Algar guys made him queasy on the way up. Lol. Well have to meet up again soon. A local guy to me was there with a testarossa and were planning a ride to New Hope. I'll let you know when we do

    Am I reading this right???
    Dave didnt get a platinum??
I cant understand why. His car looked perfect to me.
My 575 got a platinum but I have to tell you some of those judges dont miss a thing. He pointed out 2 deductions on my car I would of never had noticed.
I am glad to see those that came out on a rainy misty day.

Francis, Patrick and Tracy were really ripping it. Tony would of been too if he wasnt stuck behind a slow poke like me.
    The local guy is Curt
I have been on some of the drives up in New Hope with him and some other great guys. Always fun, beautiful roads and scenery
I recommend taking a drive up there.

Thanks. And nope... Gold. I know they deducted for logo'd floor mats, Tubi exhaust... maybe the amp in the front trunk but obviously there must have been more issues than that.
