Arizona plates. I was not aware there is a third Miura in Arizona. I have not seen this car before. Cheers Jim
Perhaps it's from the Tucson collection of cars, I'll have to do some searching, but I believe they have a 288 GTO, a 959 and a few other cool cars. The only Verde one I've seen was an SV and LHD.
With the lack of pictures and stories coming up on the special modification on Miura's SV engine, is it safe to conclude that #5028 and #5058 are the only two to have that ? (for modification see http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/142277110-post11472.html )
The driver is from Australia. I believe his name was Marc. From what I heard the car is / was stored in the UK Perhaps Joe knows more about it?
It sounded like thunder rumbling down at Piazza Maggiore, i got goose bumps and tears of joy in my eyes when Piet revved the IOTA.
Around 3946 the plate seems provisional, almost for beauty. In reality there is another under plate with white letters on a black background: Miura S Image Unavailable, Please Login
Until you have examined all the cars, I think it would be prudent to allow for the fact that there are likely more.
AFAIK they did the whole giro, so should be in pretty good condition. His wife was on the shuttle bus with the kids, so at every stop one of the kids would swap to ride in the Miura

Thanks SimonSays, have to admit I am a little disappointed I was hoping there was another one in town. Cheers Jim
Do we know if Mark J is bringing it back to Brisbane? It would make a nice addition to his LP400 and Urraco.
Joe, while it arrived on scene, Audience was applauding with Franck Sinatra's song... What do you thing of the dentist history version that has nothing to do with the singer ?
Looks like there are two miuras near my house! The arancio Miura S in La Baule, Loire Atlantique , France and this one in Saint Joachim, For sale. I've never seen it before despite leaving in the region since i was born. But i'm sure she got out of the countryside and reached the atlantic coast once in it's life. price seems high. looks like she hasn't run for sometime. original tires ? I wouldn't expect the silver car to be anywhere near La Baule. It was offered in Italy about a year ago and up to recently was still there. Condition was not great, and lots of work ahead to make it roadworthy. If the car for sale is the one of the pictures, it is chassis #4262.
Finally my article is ready to go! And the names I've found: 1)Mr. Eskandar Erriye, Irana Tile company's owner and an Iranian Jew who owned #3153 Miura. His car was a dark blue early P400 with mustard interior. He left the country after the revolution but his relatives are still here. Nothing special is known about his car. 2)Mr. Sheikh Khazaal. His ancestors used to live in southern part of Iran and were a really important family. He had a black Miura. He owned some clubs and factories in Tehran before the revolution. He lived in Darband (North of Tehran). 3)Mr. Eilghanian. He was from a well-known family and used to own a Yellow Miura. Some say that his Miura was able to blink. It seems really stupid to me, But I've heard it from some people who personally saw the car. 4) A dark Green Miura was owned by another rich guy. I'm searching for his name.
