I get the concept of putting a 360 engine in a 348 but why does it have to be longer? It's still just a V-8. This thing looks like the V-12 Enzo prototype, which I get, needed to be lengthened.

Probably has the 360 transaxle which is longitudinal vs 348 transverse...

Yup, enzo mule. Should have a v12 squeezed in there, hence the stretch.

Great power bump, but switching to a 430 engine would make it sound awful compared to the 355. Ok, I kid...I kid.

Why go thru that trouble for another 8?
It looks like the track has been widened significantly as well.

Has anyone ever driven these F40/Enzo development cars?

    Could be fun!

I have never seen this particular car before. I have studied the F40/Enzo development and I am familiar with the cousin mules.

There were 3 348 based Enzo mules. That one you've posted up is M3, Pete. Pretty sure the one in the factory museum is M1. No idea if M2 is still about but if anyone knows would be interested to find out.
