My F430 is with AAA/Keystone. Very reasonable. 1/3 of the Haggerty quote.

Geico took on my entire fleet. Including Fcar and Lambo. I recommend discussing and establishing a value if possible. Other wise its up to them and the sources they quote offering you the lowest payout.

I used them as well. Went through a broker that specialized in collector car policies. Since my car is rarely driven and garaged most of the time, it qualified for a collector car/limited mileage plan that was very affordable with full coverage and agreed value. I'm now paying less for insuring my sports cars under this policy than my daily driver Ford F-150.

Which State, depending on the State some companies are better than others.

I had AAA in California, and State Farm in Florida. My Scuderia is one of my cheapest cars on my multi-car insurance policy.

Guys, I contacted my Insurance agent regarding insuring a F430, and the told me that my current carrier will not touch a Ferrari? Kind of surprised me. Now I have to start my hunt! I could possibly have my new F430 within a month or so, so I need to figure out how much i need to budget for a good insurance plan.

Just curious what I should expect to get quoted for a F430 worth about $150K, coupe or Spyder, with a limited use plan? If you are bashful to list on here, please send me a PM. I have a perfect driving record, am married, over 40, and have no kids.

    Thanks in advance!

I would ask your insurance agent where to get a good quote, he should know AND since he can't cover your car should have no issues telling you.

But my question with a car like that, is why limited use ?

if you are really going to have limited use, I would call Hagerty or JC Taylor.

Hi guys, quick question -- looking to insure a 2003 360 and Hagerty is quoting at 2K/year for 100K agreed value which seems very high based on what I'm reading here.

Any other companies I should try? The only caveat is that I need somebody who can do a *named insured* -- basically the company is held by a LLC and the insurance would be in the driver's name?

    Thank you.

I have USAA and when I added my 360 it increased about $100 per month. I have 2 other vehicles with them. I do not know if they do LLC's. A lot varies by state and your limits of Liability. CA has been one of the cheaper states for me on Insurance and my liability limits are lets say "higher than normal".

I just switched my 360 from State Farm to Grundy; not only a lot cheaper but also they will flatbed it to the place of my choice if it breaks down (which I assume means across the country if need be). And as I recall they will fix it with OEM parts.

I have Allstate for all my cars. You have to be careful with those insurance companies with cheap insurance rate because you may have problems with claims and reimbursement when you have an accident or file a case. For cars over 100k, you may need to buy umbrella coverage.

I have my 355, Testarossa, Jetta, House and Watches (on house insurance rider) with American Family - Very reasonable. I keep high deductibles on the Ferrari's to keep rates down since pretty much anything that happens will exceed the deductible.

    Good Luck :)
