I have been looking for replica watches that are 100% accurate to the original (authentic case back insignia, authentic movement reconstruction, materials, finishes, etc.) and this site seems to have extremely high quality watches at a reasonable price. I am suspicious to whether or not they use pictures of the genuine watch and post on their site or if their pictures are in fact of their replica watches. Has anyone heard of or purchased from these guys before? The link below is one of the IWC 7 day power reserve watches and it seems to be incredible genuine looking at the rotor and overall quality. For the price, if the pictures are authentic to their watches, they are creating some of the highest quality replicas for the price.

You won't be getting "authentic movement reconstruction" nor anything remotely near the quality of the original. At best, you'll get a Chinese movement. I would suggest to look at cheaper, proper watches such as Hamilton, or buying second hand.

    ^ exactly.

    $385 for a fake watch ?
    I dont get it.

You are the fellow that wanted to make a Tourbillon, no ?
Then surely you must appreciate the quality of a genuine movement even if its a old one.
Plus you get to take it apart and learn with it.

They post pics of authentic watches and ship the same fakes that sell for $40 on the street.

If someone has a fake Louis Vuitton bag, Gucci shoes, fake Rolex, or fake Ferrari, they are doing it because they want attention. Those people are what I would called posers. Those brands are very well known by the general populous and the goal is clearly to mislead anyone who sees them into thinking that that person has money/is successful.

Outside of the very small percentage of people who love watches, nobody would recognize a Hublot, AP, PP, Graham, etc. So if the goal of that person (one wearing a fake AP) was to mislead people into thinking they have $, they're not doing it in an efficient manner. From there, my conclusion would be that they like the way the watch looks and that they are not necessarily a poser.

They are in the business of deception. I can't imagine why you would be suspicious ;)

First of all, why support an industry that is controlled by criminals? Secondly, most people know Pateks, Hublots etc. and what do you reply when someone asks what watch it is? Do you say it's a fake?

I can't argue with that. It is illegal.

Watch people, yes. The average person, no, absolutely not.

    Yes. "It's a *Hublot* Replica."

I buy things (such as cars, watches, etc) because I enjoy them, not for the approval of others.

It would be kind of difficult to get away with wearing a Patek and be seen getting into a Hyundai. Nothing wrong with Hyundai's, I have one.

The people behind the industry are usually local mafia so it's just not "nice" criminals selling copies. It's a really safe way of making money.

At least most of my friends know these brands and not nearly all of them are watch people.

Many people don't admit it's a replica. They want to make the appearance of it being a real one. Just like handbags etc. buying a replica is the same as lying to yourself. There are heaps of really good looking cheaper watches. How come the replica people just happen to like a watch with a 15k plus price tag?

I know quite a few people (& you'll probably find some on here) who own a replica watch AND the genuine $15k or whatever price watch that it is a copy of. These folks are used to a particular feel and weight of their good watch & have something that closely mimics it for times when it isn't a good idea to have that much $$$ on your wrist.

That's a common practice with folks who have expensive diamond jewelry as well. Having an exact copy (fake) made for certain events or places.

I believe that out of the regular fake watch buyers this is an extreme minority. I also don't see the point of doing that. Why not have several watches with different price tags for various occasions?

strange! when its not a good idea to wear a real one it wont be a good idea to wear a lookalike! would you want to be robbed for a replica?
if you dont feel save wear a cheap looking real watch like a swatch. nothing wrong with that.

    @michael

    Signed!
If it's not the time or the place to wear a luxury watch, wear a cheaper one or don't wear one.
