Don't know where to post these 4 pictures : Countach or Grande Giro threads ?... I took them on sunday morning, may 12th, at the end of the Grande Giro, on the parking inside the Factory plant. Couple nice shots from over the weekend during the yearly "Bugatti" event for Exotics at Redmond Town Center. As usual, I seem to be the only one who comes out with an older Lamborghini. I feel so special. LOL! Mike Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
wrong Lamborghini logo, shape of side NACA ducts is wrong (rounded front tip, not square) area on top of louvres behind small side window should be black (triangle) ...
Joke of the year. Sometimes it is better to be silent. Or to do your homework before posting. Your next post will mention the wrong pattern of the seats/headrests?
laughter is a good cure for almost anything ... Should have written 'different from other production cars' instead of 'wrong' ... It is clear that all this is original to 1120002 ! Image Unavailable, Please Login
You could accurately describe this car as a Pre-production example, and as such all the features you mentioned in your previous post are unique to this car, including the unique seat-insert pattern LC3929 refers to. Add the displaced Bertone badges, and the circular front turn-signal lights to that list. What is specifically NOT original to this car are the later-series rear tail-light lenses, the door mirrors, and (seemingly - the pic is not clear) the later-series sports exhaust. Best,

First video made me think about some comment John Watson made about Jean Alesi`s arms moving like butterfly wing

OK, its been a while since I have posted here. A fellow employee saw my Jarama in the parking lot the other day and had a good story which I am turning into a quiz as I havent seen this owner or any of the primary people mentioned in this thread. This is a semi trick question so as not to make it too easy. Here gos Which Formula 1 driver once bought four Lamborghini Countachs all at one time? They may have been purchased directly from the factory (doubtful) or from a dealer or dealers in Italy (my buddy has no idea). They were delivered from Italy at the same time on the same airplane to the USA and driven 40 miles through a major city directly from the airport to the waiting hands of their new owners (without registration or plates). The purchaser gave one to his father, one to his bodyguard, one was sold to his employer at a reduced cost, and of course he kept one. Car colors recalled after 30+ years are believed to be white, silver, red and yellow or possibly orange. Three of the cars sat for 6 months in storage, then left the country. One car sat for well over a year. None were US legal and as far as I know, none were made US legal under original ownership. The person who told me this story was one of the drivers to deliver the cars, he was an employee of the employer as were the other three drivers. Now heres the onion, my buddy says he has pictures of the cars together, but that he has boxes of pictures and doesnt want to spend hours going through them (as I would have to do if someone asked me for a specific picture Id taken). He says next time he goes through the boxes he will pull the pictures and give them to me.

The trick to finding a good Countach is not money but Lots of patience and sweat equity. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congratulations Bob! I think that is just super. Kudos to you. I know how I felt recently winning best in show at the car event I attended. Great great feeling. Enjoy!
