Triangle Italians: June 1st @ 10AM

On June 1st @ 10AM, the Triangle Italians will be meeting at the parking lot of An Cuisine's located at 2800 Renaissance Park Place in Cary (intersection of Weston Parkway and N. Harrison Ave.).

There's a Cafe Carolina & Bakery plus Starbucks so no shortage of coffee and eats.

We can go grab lunch afterwards if anyone has a good recommendation.

Looking forward to getting everyone together, get a recap on the Pinehurst Concours, see some new cars, and catch-up with everyone.

Hey Howard, I think they are doing C & C at the movie theater area of Crossroads shopping center and moving it from Waverly starting this June.

I am going to try to get to An a little earlier around 9:30a, I may need to leave for another commitment around 10:30-10:45a.

 

I'm going over to Crossroads to meet Howard and then drag his butt over to An's. I dying to see what you purchased!

 

Here is another option. I saw in the paper today that Leith Jaguar on 64 in Cary is having a launch party Saturday from 10-2:00 for the new Jag. Refreshments, etc. Might be an idea for after our meeting at AN. See you tomorrow morning

 

Keith...I think that's a great idea! I saw the new Jag convertible and it looks quite nice.

 

At "Raleigh Cars and Coffee" on facebook it seems, after carefully reading the posts, that the car meet will still be at Waverly on June 1st and move to Crossroads Movies for August. The header is misleading. It will be interesting to see if the majority of the meet moves to Crossroads or stays at Waverly in August.

We really miss the "Italians" because not as many of you show at the big first Sat. meets since it left Brier Creek. I think the Ferraris are the biggest reason the meets got so big in the first place. If the Italians show in force, the rest will probably follow.

There's more room for more cars at Crossroads movies and it's all about the cars, ok, the people too. Y'all come and support, thanks.

 

Tim and I may not get there until about 10:30 tomorrow morning.... I have an appointment until 10am and I need to have Tim help me get my car out of the driveway of our new house (long story). Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Missed a lot lately because of travel. Sitting now on a balcony at the Swan in Orlando hoping to see pics .

Hey Greg, there was a fairly large car show at MacGregor Ale House parking lot week or two ago. Looks like from the pictures there was a good turn out.
The restaurants in that area also set up some big tents to offer stuff to eat/drink
Nothing like an ice cold beer on a Saturday afternoon checking out the cars.....
Probably beats that other parking lot that seems somewhat over crowded, MacGregor appears to have more contiguous space...
Oh and did I mention they have beers?
