On my '95 456GT, my ashtray lid is stuck open. Now, other than just pulling the actual metal ashtray portion out, I cannot see where I can get at the whole assy. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Scott

You should be able to pull out the plastic ashtray part (the bit that fills up with ash) and beneath this is a screw which allows you to remove the whole assembly.

Try turning your cigarette lighter a little, if it has rotated for any reason it will obstruct the lid.

The lid has rotated too far forward and the U clip under the lid is not allowing it to slide over the assembly notch. Best to take it out and adjust it.
