Thats my cars original color! I thought of bringing it back, but my wife said no, and she is paying for everything.
Just find a successful businesswoman who is happy with her job and tell that you are willing to give up yours just to take care of her needs. That's what I did!
Thanks Erik! That was a happy accident with a floor level flood light trying to get some more light on the rear. I want to see some more of Paul's Oro Chiaro. It looks very cool and subtle.
If that is indeed the case, then you have struck gold, so you MUST have your car painted "Oro Chiaro"...
Here you go John, These shots were taken by a friend up in Toronto on a road trip a couple of years back. He is a professional and did a great job....so he gets free advertising on these photos Of course I have lots more I could send you offline............. That is a great color in diffuse lighting. Beautiful car Paul. Andre, you got to go back. Sell the wife on the idea. Its rare, its original to your car, and its super sharp.
Open a poll, André, so we can vote !!!! I stick to the original "Oro Chiaro": it's very rare, it's nice (by the way, can anyone tell me of a color that would not suit a 308??) AND it's original (and your car has already been red!). So back to "Oro Chiaro" it must be. Rgds
Here is my 81 GTSi, special ordered paint from factory, Glasurit " ROSSO BARCHETTA FER 312" Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Love that red color William! There is one more point I must take into consideration, red gives the car instant recognition. If it was a BMW or some other common car it would make sence to give it a flashy or odd color to make it stand out. For most people Ferrari=red and I love the attention the car gives me.
Ah, THAT car again! thanks for posting it William, it's really, really wonderful, so much that even if I'm a stickler for originality usually, I wonder more often each day if I should not have my 328 GTB painted in that color... Rgds
I was in the hospital when my car was ready for the paint booth. My wife actually chose this colour over rosso corsa. I was jacked on morphine to make any rational decisions. It definately stands apart from the other red Ferraris. I should add that the paint shop used a corresponding code to replicate the Glasurit product Image Unavailable, Please Login
