that would be darn near impossible IMO, he kept making small changes all the way through on W2, I even reorganized my pictures folder in chronological order based on the observable incremental changes LOL

for me personally, the gun metal version probably, with the next variation in red as second perhaps!

I have put together a video of my meeting with Jerry and seeing the Vector prototypes, but I'm still waiting to get it approved by him. I'm hoping I hear from him soon so I can make it public!

No, this is just an audio recording from an early 1980´s tv show featuring the W2 with some youtube video footage added.
Someone sent me this audio tape in the late 90´s and told me that he had recorded the audio only as VCR´s were not wide spread in the early 80´s.

So the video is just added images from other surces produced many years later.

 

Does anyone have a copy of the official video that was available through Vector?

 

either way was an interview used as advertising obviously

Ok. I've seen these, but wasn't sure if they were the ones from Vector. I just remembered that you could order a vhs tape from them back then...

 

Looks kind of like JW had a few special order VHS tapes for promotions, but I don't know if it was just the couple, or more?

Seems that I remember there being 2 tapes, one being longer than the other. I could be wrong though.

Yes.

I work in the same town the owner lives in and have seen it driving around, just didn't get to see it up close until now. It's interesting to see some of the GM Firebird switches in the interior.

 

Do you have any contact with him? I would love to do a video shoot with that car.

Why don´t you leave a message for him with the dealership that sold him the car?
BTW, I know the owner of the yellow chassis 012 that has come side by side with the flag car, chassis 001, all those years.
Chassis 012 is in Cincinatti, OH.

 

Should be the silver chassis 013 that is now in Dubai.

 

So not far from the stars and stripes one. Do you have any contact info for the chassis 012 owner?
