    I need to have a PPI done on a 512TR in the Wilmington, NC area. The only places I know in NC are Sport Auto and Foreign Cars Italian, but they're both pretty far. Can anyone recommend a closer shop?

    Should I interpret the lack of response to mean there aren't any closer shops?

    Closer shouldn't be the qualification. Take it to Europeanroadracing, because qualification trumps distance in my book.

    I agree proximity isn't a qualification, but it is a constraint. Of course I can't just take the car to a local gas station, but I thought I'd check to see if there was a qualified shop in the vicinity.
    I hadn't heard of European Road And Racing before, but after spending a few minutes looking at their website, I'm pretty impressed. If after looking at the car myself this weekend I proceed to the next step of getting a PPI, I'll give them a call.

    I live in Wilmington as well. Ill be at ERR next friday getting some work done. They have reputation that makes the distance insignificant.

    Thanks very much for the offer, but I'm already planning a trip down there this weekend to look at the car myself. If it's as expected and we can agree on a price the. I'll proceed with getting the PPI done.
