I would not call the P1 beautiful. I will say it's looks are improved when the front lower area is painted.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, etc. etc, etc., but the paint on the front doesn't make or break the car. I was far more impressed with the shape in person than I had been previously from photos. It is an impressive car. It has more presence than the MP4-12C. Obviously, this is a prototype designed to encourage people to open their checkbooks and place orders, so will be interested to see what evolves in the final production version.

I think the p1 looks kinda funky. It's striking, so can't complain about that.

Nope. It's still a prototype. The final version has the McLaren logo shaped vents in the front bonnet and vents in front of the front wheels. The final version is actually the yellow P1 shown at Geneva this year.

While design is subjective, to me the P1 looks like someone held a heat gun to it too long.

Any chance some registered user puts up a survey here to find out about Ferrarichat's verdict on the favourite of the three, and more interestingly the second best?

    Regards.

It was posted some months ago that there were various positions available for sale by owners of an LF production slot. Anyone know if there have been any transactions and any premium or is it still too early as no cars have been delivered?

why turn down an offer to buy just because over list price?

as with all the ferrari supercars, it will only increase in value. not only do you get to enjoy owning and driving it but youre sure to make a profit too.

i dont like to pay over list either, but its different with a lf as opposed to latest corvette, porsche tt, etc. i think you should reconsider

But the question is, has Ferrari taken all the 'profit' off the table for owners by pricing it so high. I undstood it was going to be priced at circa £750k until they were told by the dealers they could get away with a far higher price and maybe that higher price means that is what the car is really worth with little left on the table for those wishing to sell on?

Can be certain no original owner will ever loose money on a limited production super ferrari regardless of what they paid.

Any car fan who can afford it should buy it
