Well my dealer offered low Rm400K for a late 08 R8 high specs full duty paid & Rm360K for a 2010 Cayman manual high specs. Both negotiable. If we do Langkawi, it'll be a lot cheaper. Perhaps used R8s can be Rm300K+? I hear that dealers buy 997TT for about 350K these days while early 430s are trading for mid-high 400K. Real transacted prices & advertised are quite different. Try selling one & you'll know, it's always painful to sell
I found my 2008 R8 purchase in 2010 was a good choice when it came to depreciation and running cost. Won't suffer the larger dep pain compare to the italian makes due to lower entry cost. I think if I drive for another 5 years will lose 25-30k a year in dep. On the other hand I will surely suffer major pain on my new S Agata creation.
Did someone mention mp12? Used McLaren MP4-12C Car for Sale in Singapore, Wearnes Automotive Pte Ltd - sgCarMart
Only cause you insisted. Custom order paint. Vintage "diablo" red. Why don't anyone buy red supercars anymore? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Right! So its because of not spelling it properly thus no response. Ok. I learn something here. I learn the type of people here as well. Great! Of course. If I can afford a car not to mention a 458, surely I won't be worried on the service bills. Right? Cka, look at the other angle, 1st time owning a supercar. Naturally I would like to know what are the things/issues that I should take note. Right? Correct me if I am wrong please. Lamboghini has a shorter clutch lifespan as compared to Ferrari base on the same driving style. But by changing a carbon kevlar plate does last longer than the factory type. What about the ferrari? Is there such thing or rather do you know about such replacement? Gentlemen... hope I have got my words spelt correctly. You may want to correct my grammar as well if you have spotted it. If everything is in order. Honestly, I am quite different from you guys if I have the experience and someone uses the same words to communicate. I do not find any problem. But well.... that makes anyone special. Right?!
Pinky, we get all sorts of trolls here but you're one funny chap To start off, this is a Ferrari forum for enthusiasts. We have no problem with kids or old men as long as we have the common hobby. We speak multiple languages too but when you start calling Ferrari as furlaly, you're showing direspect & reflects yourself poorly @ best. To answer some of your questions. Reliability depends on the owner/driver not the make in modern L/F. I've known of one guy who needed a new clutch within 1000km while some do over 30k km. Play the launch control too often & you'll pay for it. Old rule still rules, the lesser moving parts, the lesser problems you have. Get a spider & you'll have to deal with the roof that squeals & leaks or even stalls halfway Test drive them for extended time to feel which car suits you better than what we say or magazine tells you. I always suggest renting one first to find out.
Excuse me bro, thought you didn't like the Aventador's drive? And looks like you didn't want our govt to make any taxes too! Congrats, a very glossy red indeed.
True. I'm not a big fan of Aventador's overly stiff jiggly ride. Another example of rush engineering in not getting the proper spring rates and dampening settings. This is what happens when you order a car two years before productions and get stuck with it. It's still a very nice car performance wise. Interior is very audi r8-ish.
A good friend asked me to watch this [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiqMVFPLHSM]Lamborghini V12 timeline | evo DIARIES - YouTube[/ame] His car is no 20, the same Miura that was once on our roads in Singapore back in the 1970s. Audi, get your dad to watch this!
Congrats , looks really nice Now for a nice exhaust to go with it Btw, how much you asking for your R8?
