    Now this is the worst testarossa photo in the history of TR photos. All locked up with nowhere to go and in that atrocious color too!

    You know what? When I first saw it, I thought it was actually a red car that was just covered up with dust...

    But now - looking at it again - I think you are right. It really was freaking PINK.

    Yeah, a travesty. Check out the devil's double. Not the best movie, but it showcases the cool F cars from the early 90s.

    Yea, I had heard that but could never find pictures so I always wondered if it was true or not. What color was it? Tom Selleck was quite a guy> Kind of Like Jack Palance. A real man's man LOL.

    Vince Neil was a Pantera guy. He unfortunately was driving it while drunk and killed his passenger Razzle of Hanoi Rocks back in 1984. I remember it well as I hung out in Redondo Beach back then.

    I'm a big guy. When I went to buy my TR I was really going to buy a Countach. But when I got in it, I didn't fit. My butt wouldn't go down in the seat and my head was cocked at 90 degrees against the roof. The sales guy said, "You need a Ferrari, not a Lambo. Ferrari's are drivers and Lambo's are lookers." So I poured myself out of the Lambo onto the ground. Then I got in the TR and I fit, just barely. The sales guy said, "We make custom seats for a lot of celebrities, mostly big athletes. They practically have to sit on the floor"

    In the '80's, Richard Pryor told a great story on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson about how his TR tried to kill him it was so fast. I believe it was an 87 in Prugna. Maybe the interview is on youtube somewhere.

    There is a known story in the L.A. music circles about ALL four members of Mötley Crüe showing up for a rehearsal in TRs. The quartet exhaust drone could be heard from blocks away!

    Has anybody noticed that the black TR Straman that was in the Michael Jackson Pepsi ad is in the August RM auction..i remember there was talk/rumor that he was given this car.. prob not true, but it seems to have been under the same CA registration for a very long time..does anybody know anything about this car ?

    Odd that they're both on the market, but I don't think it's the same car..this car has been in WA for awhile , while the RM car shows the same CA plates that were on the car in that R&T article on the Pepsi/MJ car late 80's/90's..black vs silver grille cavallinos, too.. either way, such sexy cars

    Selleck's car had the RARE mid-pillar, two-mirror factory installation. Spline hubs, red/tan.

    Pete Rose had one of the FIRST red 1986 single-mirror cars brought to the US.

    Don Johnson was gifted his silver TR by Enzo himself....

    David Letterman often quipped about getting speeding tickets in his while driving through CT....

    OH, and as far as what Cosby has - his Ferrari collection is vast. His color of choice, however, was BROWN. There was a brown TR for-sale at Cosby's preferred shop, Boston Sports Cars, for an ETERNITY. Not sure if it was part of Cosby's collection or not. Wouldn't surprise me.
