Yes. It was written off on the north Circular in London soon after the motor show, then rebuilt and is now red/bla LP400S. PM me with what you need

Thanks, Jasper! I noticed that Balloon White shares the same PPG code.

Woooooh there. That C3 Vette looks like my last vette (1969 roadster) , except from the size of the door side key lock, it looks like it uses the push button the door locks had in '68. I don't care, '68 & '69 are my favorite C3s although if you want a comfortable vette to drive and don't want to drive in a blast furnace, a 1981 has reclining seats, an A/C that actually seems to blow cold air, unfortunately I think the horsepower is in the high 100s, ach...

Looking for another vette project; although I'd like to do a midyear, their prices are out there even with the base model. So it looks like another C3 from '68 to '73 or '72 if I can't get over that plastic bumper on the front.

That's the high road? Not to mention calling in someone who has history with Roy Cats.

It always seems to happen this way, Roy posts a car he is selling or has just bought and includes pictures, within two posts Joe Sackey and or Triple X come in and post a lot of pictures drowning out Roy's posts. Roy's not pure as the driven snow but bringing up past brushes with the law is so tasteless, it's actually shocking.

Apparently class is not available for any price. Sad.

Finally, there was the threat of a fight, pathetic. Anyone who threatens to kick someone's ass over the Internet is a coward in my book and it's pretty clear they've probably never been in a fight in their lives. Yeah, threaten an anonymous person and then that person turns out to be Mike Tyson, too funny. They know they'll never get in a fight but they think it makes them look tough. Only an idiot would threaten someone they don't know on the Internet. You might end up answering your door with someone who wants to take you up on your offer.

I expected more from a board like this but I guess it comes down to genital size...

I forgot, the name dropping, sounds like a bunch of schoolgirls.

Don't believe my previous post, check out pages 162 to this one.

If Roy posts a car, immediately, Joe or his flunkies pick it apart as no one else is the expert he is and he'll be the first to tell you.
Then he floods the site with pictures that a lot of times have nothing to do with the thread except they're a nice picture but they do push Roy's posts off the front page.

Joe, I've got your book on the Miura and it's a great book. Too bad your ego won't let anyone else have the limelight.

What was the car Joe was selling that had 'no needs' but when Roy got it, he found needs?

xxx, what are you, 15? Your posts besides being tasteless don't belong on such a site. I can't believe you post pictures of yourself in a Lambo. Compensating for something???

Let's not even touch on the Cheetah nightmare.

I belong to a Vette site and an Rx (rotary) site and nowhere do people get into these pi***ing contests. We're there to talk about our rides and provide a ton of help to others with issues or problems they're having.

My main toy may be an RX-7 but how many people can shift at 10k without grenading their engine? Considering it's an 80CID engine, it sure moves on down the road.

Jasper, I think you'll find that the factory started painting cars in Pearl White in 1983 on rare occasions, and after 1985, quite a number of early QVs onwards were finished in Pearl White. In short, Pearl White was used regularly before 1988.

Look who's talking to themselves? Mr, I have 38 posts.

Go hang out on LP where you belong.

Who is this fool to attack me directly on a post that was made what 4 months ago?

I've been away fishing for the last several weeks and do not have time to get into a pissing match with a 38 soon to be 39 post little girl.

Lee there is plenty of juicy tabloid material earlier on. That's where it can stay. Everyone is accountable, some to higher degrees than others. Rehashing old conflicts is only amusing to the Jerry Springer crowd. Consider posting new information if you want it discussed in the future.

I'll be applying that battery decal as soon as I can swap my existing battery with a new one, just can't lift anything yet.

That is good, you can't take health for granted.

Brian, onto the subject of silver cars. Any new or current info on your restoration?

I love that car so much. The best model, the best color, the best wing spec. Everything about it makes it "The" quintessential Countach IMO.

And we all know how easy it is to swap a Countach battery at the best of times!

True! I always imagine dropping the battery as I lift one out, it just makes me grip it tighter.

    Thanks
