No way, the deep spoiler is the best looking.

I like the way this one turned out with the early morning light. My euro QV also has the shallow front spoiler and I actually prefer the looks. The deep spoiler just makes it look unbalanced. Besides it's far better for actually driving, catching speed bumps, etc. It's at the spa right now getting a makeover including bumpers, spoiler, exhaust, etc. So no more pics for a while. :(

As for spoilers, it is entirely a matter of taste...and also of fashion: it always surprises me here in France to see that most early 328 GTBs have been ordered with the roof spoiler, and most late 328 GTBs, especially the last production year, were ordered without!

When I get my car back, the roof spoiler is coming off! I'll just plug the holes for now and see how I like it.

Both my 328 are '89 cars; the GTS has the roof spoiler, the GTB doesn't. I still don't know what I like better, although I believe I tend to think that I do indeed prefer the GTS with the roof spoiler...

Exactly. :) I like the deep spoiler but mine is a stock, Euro small front spoiler.

    Dennis,

That GTB looks great in black, and if that is a red interior, all the better! Jeff

Hey Tom, Is that the road to El Cap Res? It's my favorite 2 miles in SD. The lake is closed on Tue & Wed, so you don't have to worry about trucks and boats, and you can let it all hang out. If it is, pm me.

Is the 355 yours as well?

How long are you home for?? AND, I am glad to know you are back, even if only for a short time.

I'm already back in Afghanistan, I had a little bit of time at home. The F355 is mine as well I bought it a couple of months ago.

Here's a picture of my dad's GTB. The car is 1977 308 GTB 22183. He owned the car for several years in the early 80s. We drove it to the Monterey Historics in 1984 when Ferrari was the honored marque, so that kind of fixes the dates of ownership somewhat. He bought the car from Bill Rudd. Does anyone know the whereabouts of 22183?

Robert has it on his register, he may have some other info.
    The Ferrari 308 GTB Register

There should be a register for your dad's shorts. They need to be monitored and controlled.

That's the first tricolore stripe I've ever seen on a 308

Me too. I kind of like it. It works well on a white car.
