Let's be honest. All of the $ numbers they talk about are lies. 900k is a joke. Also, the seats, wheels and were most likely free "product placements". The chick that delivered the seats said "I' here to represend Recaro today" or some similar BS. She is a hired spokesmodel. The custom wheels were probably free as well. The entire thing is just BS. Not sure what a Classiche restoration on the car would have cost, but that would have been the way to go. In the end, the fact that the featured the car on the show worked as a promotion for fast and loud. I had never seen the show before these 2 episodes. Also, I have never seen it discussed here. The show is pretty stupid overall. Chasing Classic Cars or What's In the Barn? are much better.

I heard it had a clean title. Who wouldn't insist this be totaled for a full payout?? If it does have a salvage title, the best you could ask for is probably $500k fully restored. I think the whole thing was horsesh#t with the objective of expanding their audience...

Maybe a slight chance of that number if it was restored to factory spec. As it sits, no way.

If you do not give the car up to the insurance company and take the settlement minus what they put the value of the wrecked car at and keep the car, nothing happens to the title.

I just finished part 2. In spite of the differing tastes and opinions, I'm glad to see the car back on the road. It would have been nice to have been shown more of the actual work on the car though. Dennis must be having a hard time wiping that smile off his face!!! I'm a little jealous.

Someone on here questioned the front clip. maybe it was fiberglass instead of carbon fiber.
The whole program is trash. The only car shows IMHO, with any kind of validity are chasing Classic cars, and Whats in the Barn.

I think it introduced a large segment of the viewing publick who don't know of the classic Ferrari's and think Bieber in a 458 is the shiznit..lol.
Sure it's like all reality shows but it is good entertainment and Rawlings is quite well off doing what he does.
I think his buddy who paid the "$400K" for the car which had no wheels on it when they got it by the way, was always in the hunt to keep the car.
Who can blame him, great track day car, sure dubious frame issues, but that car didn't just brush a wall at low speed either, it was wrecked hugely.
Fast and Loud make no apologies for who they are, Aaron is very clever and Sue cracks me up ..ass monkey!
Look at all this BS with the Algar F50, so in comparison I think they did the best job they could.
Obviously to the Ferrari purist..it's an abortion in some ways but they had to work with what they had to start with.
Only needs to look at Traveller's F40LM mega-restoration to see how to do things the right way and no complaining of "losing his ass",ect..lol

Very impressive Rob! This forum is the best for me, I enjoy it very much and feel welcome at the party, even though I am not a Ferrari owner. Though in my heart I am.
The first Ferrari's I ever saw and heard was in the paddock at the 1967 Brands Hatch BOAC 500.
The works 330 P4's I was next to as they were started.
I am 58 years old, then I was 12 and the sight sound smell of those open exhaust V12's I will never forget. Watching the race, my first, I was rooting for the Ferrari's and still to this day Ferrari's run in my blood.
I had told Jim Glickenhaus about my Kodachrome 35mm slides of the Ferrari's in the paddock that my father took and soon will have them digitally transferred and post them here.
They are awesome never before seen photos.
Any while I'm at it thanks for running such a great forum Rob, I have been made to feel welcomed here and still have many of my European stories to tell.
This is the finest automotive forum out there!

Amazing!!!! So online users were privy to our thoughts and comments?
Wow still #1 and 2 on Google.
    Just tried.
Guess a lot of F40 owners just gave up their online personas))))))
