I was just looking at one of my Dino toolkits and discovered something interesting. Out of my 4 open ended spanners/wrenches, I have a SIRCODIN 13/17 and a SIRCODIN 8/9 (both embossed). I know most books say that the 8/9 should be an 8/10, but I am curious whether the factory ever sent out the kits with other sizes. Also, I have never seen ANY tools other than an open ended 13/17 marked SIRCODIN.

Any idea about the SIRCODIN 8/9?

I Googled SIRCODIN and only found references to the usual suspects: FCHAT links in the Dino 206/246 section and to Dennis McCann's website. No listings to the manufacturer, or links to any other toolkits for any other Ferraris or any other cars.

Also, has anyone here been able to identify the specific nuts/bolts on a Dino that the tools are supposedly for?

I'd appreciate any information (especially anything definitive) about SIRCODIN, where they were located, how long in business, etc.

    Thanks -

I only came across 13/17 spanners marked SIRCODIN in the tool kit with red cloth. 8/9 spanners marked SIRCODIN is pretty unique...

I think it is a little surprising that I can't find anything on Google about SIRCODIN, other than what appears on FCHAT and a link to Dennis McCann's parts list. I find this rather surprising - nothing about a tool manufacturer by that name, or a list of any other cars (Ferrari or otherwise) other than Dino 246s that had them in toolkits.

Indeed interesting. Maybe they made their own tools, you can find "DINO" in that strange name...

Another blast from the past -

Anyone else have an embossed Sircodin 8/9 wrench (which is not the standard size in a Dino toolkit)?

Anyone have any embossed Sircodin wrenches or tools in a size other than the standard 13/17?

If so, please PM or email me, and also post your photos here too please!

I see no problem in your reviving old threads.
Just respect yourself, you know that odd Sircodin is a repop

Unlike someone else who likes to revive old posts periodically for no apparent reason - and who you know very well, I made it clear that this was a "blast from the past," and I also made it clear that I wanted to see if anyone had any other sizes of SIRCODIN (get the capitalization right ;) ) wrenches and to request that they post photos of them. Further, the odd size one is NOT a reproduction or repop.

If someone has any other sizes of SIRCODIN embossed wrenches (or other SIRCODIN embossed tools), I may be in the market for them . . . .
