    1. I'm looking to replace the factory pre-cat manifolds on an '01 US 360 (with air rails) with high-performance headers. It looks like my only two options are Fabspeed and Agency Power. Any thoughts on each? Fitment quality? Are there other options? I saw a x-ray image of the Fabspeed header and noticed that there's still a 600-cell metal cat substrate stuffed in there. Isn't the whole point of the aftermarket header to eliminate pre-cats all together, so that none of them break up and get sucked into the engine chambers? Or are these metal cat substrates truly necessary, for the US 360s with the air rails, so that the CEL stays off?

    2. I'm also looking to replace the factory catalytic converters. It looks like the primary options are Kinetix, Hyper-Flow, and Agency Power. Any thoughts on each? Fitment quality? Are there other options?

    3. Finally, I have a Capristo 2-3, valved exhaust. Loving it, thanks to forum member, Ingpr. But I could always use louder (when the valves are open to yield level 3). Which combination of headers and high-flow cats will yield the most noise? Which combination will provide the best mechanical fit? And which combination will be the most reliable (parts-wise, and CEL-wise). If I'm lucky, the answer will be the same combination for all!

    I have Agency headers, Larini test pipes, and the stock CS can (valves disconnected). Epic noise! I do get the CEL about every two or three drives. I keep a code reader in the car and delete the 0421/0431 codes when the CEL comes on. If you have to have cats, Hyperflows have a good rep.

    You must have seen the xray of the stock headers, Our headers delete the catalytic converter in the headers and use a revised merge collector design. Will PM more info.

    Thanks, Evan! I saw the x-ray photo here, and thought it was shaped more like a header than the factory "elephant ear" manifold, thus the confusion.
