Wow this is indeed mind-boggling. And the explanation that suggests vibrations caused by the footsteps of passing visitors makes the statuette turn on its glass shelf is quite ridiculous.

 

I wouldn't rule out vibration, to be honest. It could be resonance of the material or the air gaps in between.

 

Wanted to make an insurance claim for collision damage and found out my excess was $20,000! I paid a $7k premium. Holy cow, what a freaking scam!!

Damn. That's the last thing we want to find out. Problem is you can only claim $1K if the repair is $21K then go ahead to lose your 50% ncd. In the end, most people pay out of their own pockets. That's why I feel we should just take up 3rd party unless you're worried of write-offs but then again it depends on their valuation!
