It sure looks rough but I've seen photos before of some very rough finishing on Scuds, the basis being that on the regular cars much more is covered up than on the lightweight versions.

I don't like the way the parts sticker number is lifting off. They're generally pretty well stuck down in my experience. One couldn't condemn the part on that basis though!

Your source of supply is probably the greatest clue as to it's authenticity.

It looks just about how the inside of my bumper looks. They are not going to spend a moment trying to clean up an area that no one will ever see.

Agreed, they (the factory) usually are not overly concerned on how something looks that no one will see.

Ferrari body parts are known for poor finish and requiring quite a bit of work to get proper fitment. The poor appearance might even be an indication that you got something legit, since a reproduction would probably have a cleaner look to it.

Is $13k for a scud front bumper not a bit much? They're equivalent of just over $6000 brand new in the UK.

It would be cheaper to sell F430 and buy a real Scud instead.

    Looks legitimate to me.

Ferrari body work, in its raw form, almost always looks horrible.

It looks identical to my 2009 Scuderia bumper (which I have taken off the car twice).

The quality on the OEM Fiberglass is mediocre, and both front and rear bumpers are made of fiberglass, whether 360 458 or F430.

Nothing that sand paper, and a good body shop cannot get fixed.

I would have sold my painted and 3M covered front Scuderia bumper for a lot cheaper, as I want to install an aftermarket unit (for track use).

Thanks. Good to hear that coming from you guys. Btw, thanks for the oil filter kit I ordered about half a year ago. Should be ordering a new one from you guys soon.

Thanks. Also good to hear coming from someone else that has seen a raw Scud bumper from the inside. So what aftermarket unit are you thinking about going with? I've been waiting for this for a few months and have been looking into others in the meantime as well.

Yeah, I had a full bumper front, rear and skirts made out of pure carbon without the heavy crap-arse core and the interior finish is way better than oem. Light as hell. Just pray I don't crash into anything.

Thanks for your input as well.

I think I'm going to put this one up for sale. Been waiting months for this thing and have changed my mind about it now. $10,000 OBO. What's done has been done, I'll just take the loss. Highest offer this week picks it up. My loss is your gain!

A non Ferrari aftermarket part would be finished better.
