Well, I guess it's time to rethink my current business models as I must be doing something wrong...

Hmm, maybe going to college and getting what I thought was a good job working for the man was the wrong path. Now, off to learn about computers and these app thingers to hit it big...

I call Bull****. App was never mentioned. I don't recall Google buying any apps and it's never mentioned. I would be VERY successful. What's his last name?

How did he test drive his 599 without a license? How does he even drive the cars at 10 y/o? Track? Public roads?

    Too many holes...

This "App to riches" BS is playing out.. you really think it's THAt easy to make an app then just sell it away for millions and millions? Please.

This is the only Ferrari he's owned:

Agree with you. You know, several people that make money suddenly, their first concern is to buy things they always wanted without thinking that this way is one of the many which may destroy them financially in no time....

I think its very possable. Wasn't there recently a 14 year old who was paid 25 million for an app he created? Could be wrong on the age, but I think it was earlier this year.

Sounds fishy to me. But, honestly, what is the motivation to make this stuff up? Who wins? The kid gets to be around some Ferraris. Maybe he's trying to break into acting. I have no idea.
If it's true, it's awesome but a bit silly. If it's false, well, it's just a bit silly.

This is a really funny story. I can, without a doubt, tell you that Google does not "buy" apps. Secondly, even if Google had bought his "company", there is no way he would get that valuation for a single app.

    It's completely BS.

PS - vrsurgeon: I really want that RC ferrari you attached :)

To be honest, I didn't actually think it would get that many views. It was just a quick edit/upload, which is why there are no logo's anywhere in the video.

In comparison another video I uploaded later and which I spent 2 days filming & editing has only managed 200 views.

    That's YouTube for ya!!!

Crazy if it's true, and like others have said, seems fishy... if it is indeed true, that's one lucky kid.

    :)

It's been a week since we uploaded the video about Callum and his 3 Ferrari's and we decided it was now time to tell you the real story.

The video was filmed for two reasons. First as an update to the original video we did about Callum and his Ferrari 355 (which belongs to his father) and secondly to have a bit of fun with the Presenter, Yusef who thought the whole thing was real. He's not acting, he really did think Callum was for real.

What makes the whole thing such great viewing is that it was all unscripted and unplanned. We bumped into Callum and Paul at a recent event and in the video Callum was making things up as he went along. The guy is amazing and one of the nicest kids you could possibly meet!!!

And yes... he really is 12 years old.

Contrary to what has been written on websites and forums around the world, no one is promoting anything, selling anything or trying to be deceitful in anyway. In fact fGearTV is slowly winding down as we are now concentrating on another video channel.

It was just a bit of harmless fun that went a little viral.

We hope you enjoyed it and weren't offended in any way.

Many thanks to Callum, Paul and Yusef.

The video above contains additional footage which should explain everything.

Remember, the Presenter thinks it's all real and is not in on the joke.

    Best wishes to all.

    The fGear team.

LOL! That's one very cool kid. He's got a good head on him.

It's a shame he can't drive on public roads yet as he's obviously physically able, experienced and quite mature. I suppose restraint can be a blessing when you have so much going for you at such a young age. Thanks for sharing this neat story.
