You are assuming they will restart. I'm not sure they can...

Well that would IMO be silly? Road car tyres are not single seater racing tyres, to FIA's specifications.

I'm glad that Ian isn't up to see this.

When does a spoiler become an intervention?

    Track has new drains!

I bet there is a sharp kerb or drain that was missed in the track inspection.

That's just ridiculous. Their damage control is insane; tires are being "cut" because drivers are using the curbs? Using the curbs is part of driving. How about "FOM forced us to design a tire unfit for real racing and this is the result"

Vergne's tire blew on the straight...he wasn't on the curb when it failed (cue the "it was probably cut on a curb prior to the straight" excuse)

EDIT: Perhaps I spoke too soon. I saw that graphic from Red Bull and that looks like a cut.

Martin is saying the fuel burning off will help and higher pressures and more stops. ENOUGH TIRE MANAGEMENT MATE. Come on!

Maybe there is a place on the track that is cutting tires? A curb with an issue?

OK the SKY said no issues for the support races. This is Pirelli F1 issue.

Lots of blame on this one: Pirelli, FIA, teams, Silverstone

Should make for an interesting time to the next race
