    Luck of the draw. There is a difference between tire wear and tire that is defective. Mercedes cheated and made progress. No question at all they made progress. Question is how long before Red Bull and Ferrari do exactly the same. They should not wait 1 more day. Mercedes cheated. Period. The rules are clear. That 2013 car. Please argue that point??? Cut and dried. Period.

    Ham had a 2 sec lead when his tire exploded. As we can now see, Merc is able to hold race pace so it's quite feasible that Hamilton could have won.

    He screwed himself though. Alonso had pitted right before his car stopped, and by leaving it on the track it allowed FA to vault from 9th place to 3rd. He had no shot without the SC.
