it may not get $125k, because that would be a record beater, but I wouldn't be surprised if it went for $75k+ and someday it goes for $125k. 328's use to be 328's, but now they're to the point that not all 328's are so equal.

I wonder if the provenance can be documented. If not, then overpriced, but typical of this dealer.

One thing I learned from the pictures is that the air-box only says "Ferrari" on it. I thought they had some more small printing forward of that. Good to know since that's all mine has and I thought the small letters had all worn off. I'll have to save a copy of those pictures for reference for other details.

It will sell very high if everything checks out. Probably not $125k, but it will be high. Very nice car, about as close to a "new" one as it can get.

My QV has the "UFI" logo script to the right of "Ferrari", and so do a lot of 328s. Other 328s have just "Ferrari" centered. I think the centered logo alone is on later years, possibly only '89s, but not sure about specific dates.

It seems like "time capsule" 328s come around every few months.

Do you ever hear of a time capsule 308?

The heck with the 328. I want to know more about that V8 Zagato in the pics. Not listed anywhere on his site, but that's a seriously rare car. Really cool.

Oh, I do hope the 328 sells well but it's hardly a relevant data point. Last of the last, with under 2k miles. Should go pretty high.

My first comment wasn't well stated.

It's not the last of the last. There were at least 3 more US GTS's made and quite a few ROW GTS's made. It was the last imported. It was held back to be presented to Piero at the grand opening of the new FNA headquarters.

Not sure that makes it all that special.

Interesting car. However, it does bring up the question of what do you do with it. I bought a 7500 mile '89 328 back in '02 for $58K, put another 7500 miles on it in a year, and sold it for $45K (to a dealer). I considered the 13K lost a fair price for services rendered. With this one, the cost of actually driving it would likely be much higher. So, presumably, one if left with the option of doing what everyone else has done with it so far - buy it and just have it sit there. Not exactly my idea of a good time...

I wonder how this car compares to the 2012 RM Auction car that apparently sold for $145,000.

I'd expect it to have a new belt in there for that price. Can't imagine how some of the other rubber parts have held up too.

Nice F355 you have there, I always wanted a F355 but I heard the valve guide is expensive to fix?

Don't leave it to waste. Drive it. This car is only good as a garage queen for the rest of it's live. Drive it for one year and it's worth 60 grand.

No wonder why you see this:

Someone should buy it and experience what it's like to drive a "new" 328.

I bought my (incredibly well preserved) 1995 F355 Spider in 2010 with 124 miles on it (fully serviced). It's got just a little over 6k miles on it now. Being a motorcycle mechanic, it's almost certainly the closest I will ever come to owning a new Ferrari. It's been a great experience. I'll probably sell in the next year or two, and anticipate that it will go for the top of the normal range, but still the normal range. It was, of course, not in the normal price range when I bought it!

Agreed: there are at least 33 known GTS chassis numbers post 82933; that makes it "one among the last batch" only...
Perhaps the last one to actually leave the factory?

83117 is still for sale these days at Auto Salon Singen, after failing to sale on E-bay with an asked price of 115.000 euros; she has 100 miles on the odometer, that is, only the delivery miles. It is the last number I have before 83136 (a swiss specs car), which officially is the last of the breed.

I hope not! I need to get on board first. Give me a little more time. Then let the prices rise. HAHA.
The UAE is flush with cash. Maybe they sell for that, but I would guess this guy is swinging for the fences.
