Oh, I see......so, this is yet another "mystery" Ferrari about which we can never have any details / pics then because they are classified Top Secret, and the owner is a high-level CIA operative ?!

sheeeeesh.......these scenarios are getting old. How about no more claims without backing it up with something from now on, folks ?

Not that I am calling anyone a liar ---- just think we should stick to what's in the public domain.....otherwise, what's the point ?!

And, if there are owners who are so secretive that no one (other than a few "chosen ones") is ever allowed to know of their car's existence (in public)........well, then, they are either nefarious or a-holes ---- and not even worth mentioning here.

This thread is for cars residing in Iowa. That car never made it to Iowa (other than passing through on I-80 via transport). I thought I indicated that in an earlier post, but maybe not.

Some of his collection will be on display at the Iowa City FCA show being held at HARTek Automotive 4161 Naples Avenue, Iowa City, Iowa, 7/25/2013 starting at 4:00.

 

Saw a Phantom Drophead at Glen Oaks a few weeks ago, license plate was "DLE". Also saw a GranTurismo MC convertible in Urbandale on Douglas. I'll post pics of the Rolls when I get the chance.

 

Dodge Viper GTS near Davenport or something and a Maserati right after Bix.

Funny that the white GranCabrio posted above has the license plate DOES185. Black GranTurismo in Des Moines had that same license plate a few years ago (different owner).

Hey Iowa people, I will be attending ISU next year. What exotics will I see around there, the Aimes area? I have seen all the post about cars in the state as a whole, what big city would I expect to find the most exotics? I will be looking for car shows and such while I'm there, please keep me posted, thanks!

 

If you are planning on attending ISU next year you might want to learn how to spell "Ames"! Have you been accepted?
