    I may be a tad presumptuous in asking but can I get some recommendations for a shop that can "beef up" a long tube turbo manifold for my Miata? I just want extra support, welds/beads, and maybe a little porting as well.

    If you can find Mike Davis, he's possibly the best wielder I've ever met. I think he has a shop up near the Woodlands.

    This guy Home - OddBall Turbo did some welding on a Callaway twin turbo Alfa GTV6 exhaust manifold for me. The manifold was cracked because it did not fit properly. Stress created from forcing it over the studs on the head put stress on the manifold that caused it to crack over time.

    I gave him the manifold & a spare head. He repaired the crack, cut off the poor fitting manifold tube, & reshaped/reattached it. He did a great job. The repair has held up well, & his welds looked very nice.

    He's down in League City, & basically, it's a private residence with a shop in the back.

    Thanks Michael I appreciate your help. I purchased a turbo manifold for my Miata, the price was just to good to pass up so I want to have it looked over, concerning the welds, as they look iffy although installing or pulling it off would be a "cake walk" compared to my old MKII MR2T, it was a love/hate relationship lol. I will feel a lot better if I can get it "beefed up".

    Here are a few picks of the manifold so you should be able to recognize my concerns. Please disregard the hardware as I will be using ARP all around.
