VIN is on the righthand side of the engine compartment. You can also locate it on the top of the steering column. If you are interested to know the VIN, Red Headed - VIN Decoder.
That seems odd it is plastered all over the car. If you open the drivers door you can see it 3 time within 3 feet of each other. I have some pics of mine I will add. Drivers door jamb twice and steering column and stamped into the engine cradle. It is probably in more places too I just haven't noticed yet. Hope this helps.
