    They made the doorway for a LeCar. They should take the doors off of the hinges like when you try and move a large couch through a small doorway.

    I don't have an answer. I sold my 2 in 1986 I think...mine was a one time exemption euro car w/ a bunch of options including the 260hp, devil exhaust and gottis. in the day it was rocketship fast!!!

    I don't have a T1 to reference, but the T2 are going for between $30-40K these days, and the T1 (in original condition) is going to be more desirable I would think

    I'm no expert, but keep an eye on the prices over here in Europe for a couple of years now...

    The prices vary very much regarding the condition of the car. There are not so many on offer and if there is one, it's not selling fast. I think the number of people intersted in buying an R5T is little.

    So the prices for T2 are normally starting around $40-50K over here, for T1 I would say around $65-75 if you are lucky. Depends whre you can find one, in Switzerland, France, Italy or Germany, often enough this gives you already an idea about the condition... really good T1 are hard to find.
