the balls dana white has for making that fight card ppv is shocking. it just looked like crap on paper. watched it at a buddy's house, boring. I've always liked burkman, solid fighter, he's be a good gatekeeper for the ufc, he DOES deserve a call back. big country needs to stop messing around and lose some weight, and get in shape. dana is just looking for a reason to cut him. women's mma just doesn't interest me. no depth, still looks like 2 teenage kids meeting up after school to duke it out over a schoolyard tiff. fitch, he's always been one of those guys that has managed to get it done, but just in a hopelessly boring fashion. that and his whiney overall attitude of self-entitlement is getting tiresome. people don't like to watch an uncharismatic fighter dry humping their way to decision after decision. and with the experience he has to get subbed that quickly and easily was no beuno. i'm a big time mma fan and he's even starting to annoy me. hopefully this is enough of a kick in the pants to restoke that fire.

    Yeah, card sucked for sure.
Thankfully it was fritzing out on Comcast so I called to complain and they are refunding the price.
I know we all want as much MMA as possible, but it really does end up oversaturated with weak cards if they try to do all of these shows without stars....

At least The Spider is fighting soon!!!!!!!

In for a DOOZY tonight. Anderson Silva vs Chris Weidman. This is a tough one to pick only cause of the fact that Weidman is undefeated. The question is: IS he unbeatable? I really don't see Silva losing this one and to me they just hyped it up REALLY well. I'm EXCITED!!!!!!! Good card tonight.

Edgar is a huge favorite, but I give Oliveira a decent shot. I definitely don't see it as lopsided as the odds makers do.

I agree. Silva got way too cocky and left his chin in a really vulnerable spot that result in him getting tagged right on the button. He got what he deserved.

Worse than the fight, his statements afterwards made it seem like he just didn't want to be champion anymore.

I was certainly bothered by what he said as well. All he seems to be focused on lately is getting to box Roy Jones Jr, which I don't understand at all. Jones Jr. was the greatest in his day, but those days are long behind him, so why would Silva want to fight him?

Perhaps what Silva said after the fight was emotionally driven - I really hope so. Hopefully this was a wake-up call to him, and he will get back to being a lot more serious about fighting versus showboating, and learn to respect his opponents. It would have been a very different fight if Silva was serious, and hopefully he will decide to take the immediate rematch.

How about Gonzaga? What a sick KO!

Beautiful fights by Edgar, Barboza, Kennedy, Munoz, and Cub Swanson. Amazing card - did not disappoint.

I still think Silva could/will beat Weidman if he took it more serious. But that being said, Atleast the belt went to a good PERSON!!! He deserves it and I beleive he'll be a GREAT champ. Rematch wise... I think Silva would win.

I wonder if Silva threw the fight as a subtle middle finger to Dana W- to show that he is in control. I can imagine that all the talk of "super fight" got old to him and he was tired of DW saying that was what would happen next. The first thing out of DW's mouth was that the superfight was off. Stranger things have happened....

Want to brag a little: I was training side by side with Cyborg the past few weeks. (Never against her... Thank God). She will be fighting in a HUGE fight angainst Coenen on Saturday night. As much of a man you may think she is, I've been told by a few of her male training partners, you can tell your fighting a chick... I was kinda surprised by that.

How does she look in person? I think she is attractive, and probably looks very nice when she is dolled up.

I really don't find her attractive, BUT... A lot of guys in there think she is. But what I do remember is: Her skin looked so smooth. especially on her arms and legs.

Actually, quite a few of them are attractive. Amazing to see the difference when they are about to fight versus being all made up and in street clothes.

I love Rousey's smile - it just lights up a room. Very pretty girl.
