Try to get some sleep! :D :D Heartiest congratulations, Peter. :)
Maybe you should also say, not many people with such Deep pockets , and Ital motors the agent , don't sell it cheap either. Wth the new loan scheme, many supercars owners are feeling the pinch, Congrats on your purchase and for your first Ferrari! Wow seen a silver one running around Gardens. Singapore should have the same system like Hong Kong, our Government needs to learn
Singapore is millionaires/billionaires playground. Beautiful place to live (if you can afford it). The Chinese rich though (and indeed the wealthy from the whole region), just keep coming and coming, and driving asset prices ever higher!
My F12 after PDI, solar filming, and installation of Black Vue camera, but before detailing. Sorry for the lousy iPhone photo. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow! I thought I was starting out at the top with my first F car to be a brand new 458 Italia. But your first F car is a new F12. What a way to start. Congrats!! I like the red, not for resale, it just looks good.
Sounds awesome!!! Congrats and please post more pics as soon as it arrives home and you buff it up!!!
Thanks. I was going to start off with a Spider, but then this F12 suddenly became available so I jumped at the chance.
Took delivery of her last Saturday, 29 June, but I have been just too busy to post pictures of my baby. Here are a few. Buffing done professionally, not by me. Let me know if you guys want more pictures. I will be able to post more when I get back from the Corso Pilota Avanzato course at Varano next week. Beautiful! Love the whole spec, especially the wheels! Would love to get driving impressions. Congratulations! More pictures = better!
Congrats...looks very nice. The wheel choice is very "GT" and tones down the edginess...also like your choice of the black calipers...to my eye it enhances the lines of car, back to that GT look. As always, I still think a 15mm spacer, particularly on the rears, would finish the look nicely by bring out the wheels closer to the lines of the bodywork. Enjoy it...I'm jealous!
I was lucky to get the wheels. They had just made it available to order in the 3rd week of March which is when I finalized my spec. More pictures and track driving impressions when I get back from Italy.
Glad you liked some of the aesthetic choices I made. I really liked the wheels from the get-go when they were first shown on the launch Rosso Berlinetta F12 at the 2012 Geneva Auto Salon. I decided to stay with the Nero Opaco (standard) calipers because there is enough going on with the exterior, no need to add distraction to the mix. And I am a cheap bastard! I will consider putting spacers in the back, if only to have the rear track as wide as the front. If it looks better, that is just icing on the cake.
Beautiful car and excellent choice on the calipers. I also find that different colored calipers are distracting from the beauty of the lines of most sports cars. It has been said that Italian sports cars look like a beautiful naked woman laying on her side. So why add tattoos in the form of bright colored brake calipers? ;-)
It looks like you have the standard steering wheel with LEDS. Must be a special request. I ordered the carbon LED steering in the 458, and I don't care that it will be the only carbon fibre in the entire car.
Thank you. Good analogy with the tattoos. Have to remember that one. Honestly though, if it hadn't cost US$4k extra, I might well have "tattooed" her yellow. Like I said, I'm a cheap bastard.
Indeed, it was Extracompionario (sp?) for the steering wheel in leather and spokes in gunmetal finish aluminium. If I remember correctly, it was an extra US$3k on top of the US$12k for the regular LEDS option.
