MASSA DOESN'T SUCK

autosport.com puts in the headline that it was a driver error, but that is still not my conclusion from his statement. Don't say it wasn't a driver error, just not sure. Seemed like the same kind of thing that happened in Monaco.

If it was a driver error, Ferrari should seriously look into replacing him. I believe Hulkenberg is the way to go. Ferrari needs a new fast German and Vettel is off the table.

No mention is made of the gear issue.

 

Ferrari being the bastion of rationality that it has always been.

Massa says gearbox locked up in 5th causing him to spin. I'm sure the data would support it.

It did look really weird where he spun. And, the car would not move after it even though he hit nothing.

Yep it was a very strange spin, but ESPN, Eurosport, and Autosport are all saying that it was indeed driver error....not that I feel great about it.

For his sake, I hope it was a locked gearbox and not an unforced driver error. Losing the car under braking in the dry without any sort of cause would be his ticket to racing Indy Cars or Le Mans.
