Interesting, but the CRKT Zilla tool is a piece of junk. Bought one years ago for ~15 bucks. Someone's just trying to get a few bucks from amazon referral codes.

I'm not sure those 'exact' items would be best, but quality items that do the same thing, I think, would be a great idea.

Every time I've tried to use a flashlight from my glove box, the batteries were dead.
So now I carry a LED flashlight with a built-in hand crank to charge it.

I'm glad to see that someone thought of putting ... gloves ... in a glovebox. ;)

Obviously either a gross oversight, or the list is actually for either a station wagon or Subaru glovebox.

The glovebox in my 458 is so small that it won't even hold the manual. This stuff just isn't going to fit.

I'm not sure it would all fit in the glovebox of most 1/2-ton pickups.

No :) Fortunately it was secured pretty well. But once, driven by gut feeling, I ripped off a plate on the back of Mercedes seat thinking that it is a drawer lol

Another option to consider is a "flashlight app" for your iPhone or Android phone.
Most a free apps and use the camera flash feature on the phone as a flashlight.
Eats up the battery charge on the phone but it does make a nice flashlight when you only need on for a few minutes.

Here's some info on one for the iPhone:
    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/flashlight-o/id381471023?mt=8

Also, I used to carry a small point-and-shoot digital camera in the glovebox before I started using my iPhone camera instead.
A camera of some type is very helpful if you get into an accident or need to capture some evidence for any other purpose.

You need a dash cam if you are worried about documenting a potential accident. The article for this thread had one good tip for a smartphone, though: take photos of the insurance/registration documents on your phone and keep them there, just in case.

    + Definitely

Anything could happen at anytime. Take a pic. I believe the USA adopt the Russian culture of on-board DVR cameras.
