Whomever ends up with that last 360, I'll purchase the carbon seats.

What do you think one should pay for such a car?

Cold day in hell before I'd touch another flood damaged car without an extremely thorough PPI.

I played that game with a 2000 BMW M5, and I still have nightmares 4 years later!

Yikes. I wonder if the vandalism is the source of all the damage or if it occurred after another issue.

Thanks for this thread. Over the past 7 years, I have been rebuilding BMWs for personal use and sale. I have built M3's, 330's, 335's etc and I am in the position to obtaining my dream car soon, a Ferrari F430. I will keep everyone posted on the progress once it gets going. Hopefully this year, but I am being patient!

    Primary Damage: MINOR DENTS/SCRATCHES

Just wondering how the car is written off as CA SALVAGE CERTIFICATE
    for MINOR DENTS/SCRATCHES?

I can't find the link to the car, but it is possible that it is from a private seller, so you have no idea what is going on with the car. I almost always recommend buying from an insurance company listing unless you can go see the car in person.

    Copart

559,855 km = 347,878 miles...something tells me that isn't truly "actual" despite the odometer reading.

So if I found a car that I was interested in, say one of those flood damaged 430s, how do you go about checking it out or getting more info on it? If you live 1000+ miles away, do you need to take a leap of faith or just find someone trustworthy to look at it for you? How do you find out if the car starts/drives etc?

Do all cars come with keys/titles?

Sorry for the questions, but an initially cheap fixer-up Ferrari is a very intriguing idea for me..
