Orthodontists?

Any orthodontists here?

The time has unfortunately come when my son need to have his teeth looked at. He's eight but they are coming in all jacked up and his dentist recommended getting them looked at.

As usual, I'd prefer to use a forum member or a recommendation.

Be warned, I might be taking a collection tomorrow at C&C!!!

 

I would have never thought to go to a car forum for a Dr. referral. Must be a Ferrari chat thing?

 

You'd be surprised. I've gotten many excellent referrals from my Florida gang for many different things.

 

Dr. Herman and his wife have two offices. They are children orthodontist. They are in Boca & Wellington. His user name in F-Chat is the Extractor. They are awesome people. He had posted sometime ago that he was going to the Ferrari factory on vacation, I'm not sure if he is back. I sent you a PM with his email. Regards Eddy Fiuza

If still looking for an ortho, Peter Wohglemuth in boca is great. I needed braces as an adult and he did mine. He is also a personal friend for 10 years. Feel free to use my name (Jeremy).

 

Thank-you for the recommendation Eddie...... Your the Best...... But to clarify. My wife and I are pediatric dentists and DO NOT DO Ortho...... If you call my office, and mention this thread, My staff would be happy to give you names and numbers for any Ortho in town...... In the mean time, We are availble for all of your childrens dental needs: Children's Dental Place of Boca, Children's Dental Place of East Boca and Children's Dental Place of Wellington

 

Probably too far for you to travel, but we had all our kids fixed up at Dr. Ireland's office in Palm Beach Gardens on RCA Blvd. We did a one lump payment deal where it was $3400 for the first kid, and ended up at around $3800 for the last kid. One other Orthodontist we talked to wanted to do a two phase thing where it would cost around $13000, but the costs would not be capped. Most of our kids' friends used the more expensive guy. He had some nice video games in the lobby and treatment areas IIRC. Our guy has two old school pinball machines, I like it! I recommend this type of payment for your financial well being!

Our kid had an orthodontist here. He was a car nut and we were chatting about Ferraris. He told me that he only buys Lambos now because Ferrari drivers are too snobby and the allocation program for new cars is B.S.

We stopped going to him. He was decent enough, but then again there are plenty of decent orthodontists here who aren't Ferrari haters.
