I think McLaren made a big mistake showing the car in two tone livery so as to demonstrate the trick aero. Looks so much better in a single colour in my view.

Agreed, and black suits it very well. Seems to shrink the relative size of the greenhouse and blends some of those distracting detail elements.

at first glance, it looked like the venom gt. looks great in black though, i agree.

I agree the front looks better in body color but if I was able to order one I would have the side scallops in black and the body in the original Bruce McLaren orange.

Now that's freaking beautiful. I had a suspicion that this car would look much better in one solid color and this picture looks bad a$$.

 

No doubt the Mac is a phenomenal car and an awesome performer. I have seen neither in person. The Mac does look great in black but I still think the LaF looks better and sounds significantly better than the P1. Just my opinion.

 

Ferrari SS, why oh why is the Ferrari LaFerrari NOT at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend like the P1??? : ( It makes me very sad!!! I am sure it would steal away all the attention that the P1 is attracting there. But Ferrari don't show it or let it racing up the hill. That would be so much good publicity for it but it is like Ferrari are not wanting to compete static or in motion with Maclaren. This would have been the chance for Ferrari to show the world that LaFerrari is the best hyper car ever produced! Please Ferrari, make the car more public, otherwise...

 

It's still two colors - the paint on the Goodwood runner is 'Amethyst Black' - their take on a dark metallic purple. I'm comfortable enough in my masculinity that I'd rock it!

That's a Validation Prototype, but production had already started 6 days ago.

with 3 mil in funds, I will/would certainly buy all three hypercars. they are all sensational....toughest choices are in the coloring and specs..

Did La Ferrari didn't show up at Goodwood?

 

Looks sensational; and to think they also managed 600KG downforce without compromising the looks! Any idea when customers start getting their hands on them? Looking forward to see one of these OTR up in the West End.

Now I'd like to see LaF in black. Should hide some of the more questionable lines, particularly at the front. Should look stunning in that colour.

 

Deliveries start from 22 August if I remember correctly.
