    Love that catchphrase "Thinking ahead for the 80's" lol :D

    I remember being absolutely ridiculed in the early 90's for buying a 200Mbyte hard drive (cost me **** loads also)....was told I would never be able to fill it to capacity before hell froze over !!!

    I spent 2 weeks in the mid 80s helping the EIS manager rebuild the VTOC on a 600mB CDC drive for WANG, what fun trying to relink all the broken chains using reams and reams of continuous paper with indexed file links needing manual matching :(

    We did LOTS of drinking every night to get our strength back :p

    Mick was a very accomplished software/comms guy, he now does gardening in SA, I often wonder what people would say if they knew who they had working for them ...... he also wrote the software for the toll roads
