I spent 2 weeks in the mid 80s helping the EIS manager rebuild the VTOC on a 600mB CDC drive for WANG, what fun trying to relink all the broken chains using reams and reams of continuous paper with indexed file links needing manual matching We did LOTS of drinking every night to get our strength back Mick was a very accomplished software/comms guy, he now does gardening in SA, I often wonder what people would say if they knew who they had working for them ...... he also wrote the software for the toll roads
